ANSO 3193 Global Trends
( 3 hours) Quad Three
A survey of the most significant contemporary global trends: economic, political, cultural, and security-related –including their inter-connections. The nature of globalization, WWII to present. The course will concentrate upon what is happening and why, touching only lightly upon issues of evaluation and prescription. Prerequisite: an introductory course in one of the social sciences or permission of instructor.
