PHYS 1013 Introductory Physics I


(3 hours) Quad IV
An introduction to natural phenomena and their description using algebra-based mathematical models. Emphasis on general problem-solving techniques and the development of critical thinking skills. Forces, motion, energy, momentum, fluids, and waves. Primarily for students not majoring in engineering or physical sciences. Prerequisite: MATH 1143  or MATH 1163  or MATH 2014 .
